Description:

The Paley Multiplier method offers a systematic approach for predicting height, limb length, and limb length discrepancies. This application facilitates practitioners in entering patient demographics—including age, sex, and length parameters—to derive accurate predictions without relying on traditional multiplier tables or manual calculations.

Through this tool, users can effectively forecast limb length and discrepancies at maturity for patients with congenital or developmental conditions affecting the lower or upper limbs. The app also calculates the optimal age for epiphysiodesis to achieve desired corrections while accounting for remaining growth potential. Additionally, it provides predictions for standing and sitting heights in both typical individuals and those with achondroplasia, as well as forecasts for foot length and fetal bone discrepancies.

The inclusion of multiplier growth charts and deformity parameters further enhances the utility of the application for reference purposes. Notably, the accuracy of the multiplier method is comparable to, or even exceeds, that of other growth prediction techniques, with validation studies documented and available in the bibliography.
